NYC "Matte Me Crazy" top coat

One of the newest trends, which you can find in the collection of almost each and every make-up brand, are the top coats. Top coats give your nails a special look by adding some extra sparkle or other effects that make your nails look simply delicious!

Today, I've tested the mattifying top coat by NYC. "Matte Me Crazy".
The black base coat is also one by NYC. 'City Blackout' is its name. I just want to say that this is the best black polish I've ever bought, since it covers your nails perfectly in just one layer and it has a beautiful shine!

Anyway, back to the mattifying polish now! "Matte Me Crazy" makes your base colour look matt by only applying one layer. It takes some time for the nail polish to dry completely. The moments after you've applied the polish, it looks like nothing is happening, but if you give it a few minutes time to dry, your nails start looking matte instead of shiny!

Price is € 2.99

By the way:
If you want the effect like my nails in this picture, you should make sure that the mattifying coat is completely dry. Then you can draw a small line with the base colour. Some people use 'nail art' pens to get this effect, but if you have a steady hand, you should do just fine by using the brush of your polish!

XOXO Jynthe
