W7 Neon Green

Flashy Colours are the IT-thing for this summer... So why not translate that to your nails as well??
That's what I thought when I bought this nailpolish.

W7 is a brand of nailpolishes that isn't that well known; and that's a pitty because it comes in the same bottle as do OPI polishes which makes me believe it comes from the same factory as the 'brand' polishes.
So W7 is taking over a big part of my nail polish rack since I noticed W7 in the store...  I love it because it comes so close to the OPI colours and it lasts just as long as the high(er) priced products...

as you can see the bottle looks really green, that's why I picked it up; I love every shade of green... especially if it's as bright as this... But if you look even closer you can see the colour in the bottle looks exactly the same as it does on my nails (which are really short, I know) in just 2 coats without being streaky or gloopy... and it is easy to apply because of the perfect consistency

As you might know I'm crazy about products whom have names instead of numbers... If people ask me what colour I have on my nails I'd rather say: "Neon Green" than: "oh number 34"

But the best thing about this polish without a doubt is its price: A bottle of W7 consists 15ml and can be yours for €2,49!

+
-> price
-> consistency
-> naming the product
-> big bottle
-> colour

-
-> maybe a bit of a rip-of from OPI but hey: I don't mind it at all

Essence Studio Nails Gel Style stickers

A current trend in the land of nail art are the stickers that cover your nail completely. Essence recently came up with a line of t stickers called 'Gel Style'. Essence promises you to give you perfectly styled nails after applying these stickers. This line has got 4 different prints. A tigerprint (love love love it), something that looks like lace 'butterflies', a lace 'tip' and a style that kinda looks like newspaper letters or grafitti.

Like you must have already noticed, I am a true fan of animal prints, especially tiger prints! Of course, when I saw these nail stickers, I had to buy the tiger print!

On the packaging of these stickers you can read clear instructions on how to make them fit properly. You must make sure that the nails are clean. If you want, you may apply nailpolish before you put the stickers on your nails. I think this makes the effect even prettier! (By the way, I am wearing a grey-beige nailpolish by Gosh under the stickers!)

One package consists of 14 stickers, so you can pick the correct size according to your nail bed. Of course, the size will almost never be perfect, and that's when scissors come in handy!
You will also be needing these scissors to cut the nail stickers a bit shorter after you've placed them on your nails. The 'edges' that still remain, can be removed smoothly with a nail file. If there were spots underneath these stickers that did not really stick, I adjusted them back to the nail with just a tad of nail glue!

And tadaaaaa, this is the effect that I got:

I absolutely love this style on my nails! Above all that, I also got very curious about the other prints now and I wil definitely try them out soon!

Now, I am hoping that they stay on long enough to last a few days! I will update you on this one ;)

Price is € 1.99 per package

Coalface By Lush

Today I'm discussing a birthday present I got from Jynthe: the co-blogger/ the brunette:
For my recent birthday she gave me a lot of nice stuff: nailpolish, bracelets and a set of showergel, scrub and lotion and of course this baby: Coalface from Lush...
She won a giftcertificate from Lush in Antwerp (Lucky her) and bought great stuff  for herself (after receiving some great advise of course) and is really excited about Lush now...
 Personally I always get overwhelmed at their store, and never find something I really absolutely must have... All the smells are always pulling me in the store, but when I get there, I mostly walk out without a package of their fabulous stuff...
So when she got back at the store she decided to buy some more stuff she liked.
AND of course my gift...

Lush says about coalface:
"Coal Face is ideal for those of you who loving washing your faces with a good, old-fashioned bar of soap. Except, there’s nothing antiquated about this preservative-free facial cleanser. Inspired by the complexion bar in ‘Annie Hall’, we created Coal Face for combination to oily faces. Powdered charcoal absorbs excess sebum and acts as a mild exfoliator, while rosewood and sandalwood oils reduce redness and clear up blemishes. Use Coal Face daily for clear, balanced skin."

What I really like about this product is that it gives you a feeling of freshness.. and it makes your skin very clean... I get the feeling it opens my pores, and get's all the UV-damage out of your skin...
I personally really like the smell, but as I read other blogs I know other people don't always love the smell of it, ah well, smell is a personal thing...

Either way: now I got a taste of their products, I'm getting really excited myself, and when I get to Antwerp or any other city that has a Lush store, I'll receive advice with open arms! Lol

Oh and thanks again Jynthe for this great birthday present.

Price: 7,95/100gr

Lush 'Big' Shampoo

I became a true fan of LUSH cosmetics since I won a gift cheque of €65 this winter. I got a facial where they used these products and I got to pick everything I wanted for that amount of money!

I asked for their advise on shampoos and I picked out this awesome black jar called 'Big', which promises the buyer to give you big, voluminuous hair!
To be honest, I have the best hair a woman can wish for. I can wear my hair any style I want without it constantly getting fuzzy. My hair is really thick and voluminous on its own, without the use of special products. But of course, your hair can never be pretty enough! ;) So that's when I decided to try 'Big'!

The product itself smells very fresh, like lemons! When you apply it to your hair, it is a feel that you will have to get used to. In the beginning, it feels like you are rubbing a substance similar to rice pudding onto your hair, but once you proceed massaging the shampoo, this will change into a very soft foam!

So, after I washed, dried and curled my hair, I came to this conclusion:
What 'Big' does to my hair is:
- A fresh scent and feel.
- Making it extremely soft and shiny.
- When I curl my hair after washing it with 'Big', my curls last A LOT longer compared with other shampoos!

Price is € 16.95 for a jar of 330g

Essence Express Dry Drops

Don't you just hate it when you've perfectly done your nails, but then you have to wait for minutes and minutes before they are finally dry. Most of the time, you don't have that much time to keep your hands waving in the air for that long, so you start walking around... And then you bump them.

Essence came up with a solution for this! The Express Dry Drops. The bottle contains an 'oily' substance, that you should drop onto your nails immediately after you have applied the final layer of your nail polish. There is a small pipette included inside the bottle, so there will be no mess made!

The difference between freshly polished nails where you have or have not applied the dry drops is really noticeable. With these express dry drops, your nails are dry in no time! Even if you've applied more than one layer!
Price is €1.99 at Kruidvat.

This is definitely a 'must-buy' for each and every busy or just impatient woman! ;)

Catrice Made to Stay: 030; Star was here!

I love dark glamourous colours on my eyes...
So I couldn't pass the Catrice rack without grabbing this beautiful cream! I love this colour, and the name of it! Let's face it; I'm a 'fan' of make up brands giving their products names! It's so much cooler when someone asks you what colour you are wearing to say: 'I'm wearing Star was here!' than 'I'm wearing number 030', isn't it?
You can wear it daily and nightly in my opinion.
 AND it's cheap. You can buy it in 'Kruidvat' for €2.79.
For 5 g that's not that much.
There is however a downside to this product: it gathers in my crease, (maybe it's the cream that just doesn't smudge enough so I don't think you should use this without a primer; or use this as a primer, but lightly then, as a base for your eyeshadow.
 I have to be fair; it gathered in my crease after a day of being really busy: cleaining, visiting family and dining with a friend...

H&M Body Splash 'Coo Coo'

I like body splashes! They are almost always extremelycheap and make you feel fresh and fruity in an instant! This one, by H&M is one of my personal favourites at te moment. Its full name is a whole mouthful: 'H&M Body Splash Coo Coo it is Spring in the air!'
I bought it while I was shopping in Antwerp and I suddenly realised I forgot my deodorant. It was a warm day that day, so I really wanted to get 'a bit of refreshment' for my body! ;)

This body splash smells extremely fresh and makes me get this awesome 'Spring feeling' immediately. It has got hints of lemon, pear and cucumber in it.
Do you also know the smell of freshly mowed grass? Well, this bodyplash makes me feel nostalgic about the times where I was still a little girl that was playing in a freshly mowed garden! Love love love it!

Price is €2.95 for a 250 ml bottle.
Hurry up, visit a big H&M store and buy yourself a Coo Coo bodysplash before they run out! ;)
